Colourful Face of Health Services

Gerflor Taralay Premium Compact flooring is integral to the stunning colour and design appeal of the award winning Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane.

Recently voted Building of the Year in the 2015 Brisbane Regional Architecture Awards and a Finalist in the Dulux Colour Awards 2015, the purpose built hospital is part of a $1.5 billion program of works.

Designed in joint venture between Conrad Gargett Riddel and Lyons Architecture, the new 359-bed hospital is the biggest public children’s hospital in Australia, and the hub for enhanced children’s health services across Queensland.

The hospital opened in November last year with the simultaneous closure of  the Royal Children's and Mater Children's hospitals.
