Gerflor Congratulates World League Volleyroos!
Australia’s Volleyroos will contest the World League Finals in Italy next week after a show stopping victory over France at the weekend.
The Volleyroos looked dead and buried when they trailed 13-11 in the final set in front of a capacity crowd in Sydney on Saturday night before powerhouse Tom Edgar helped lift the Australians to a memorable 25-20, 22-25, 25-22, 23-25, 16-14 victory.

Australia went into the World League Group Two semi-finals as the underdogs, earning its place as the host nation while France, Belgium and the Netherlands all won their groups.
Australia had finished bottom of their group behind Belgium, Canada and Finland.
But last weekend, Australia notched a clean sweep over Canada in Sydney - their first-ever in the World League - and backed up with a straight-sets win over the Dutch on Friday night.
"I didn't think three or four months ago that we could have won group two of the World League," Australia coach Jon Uriarte said after the match.
"But at the same time I have belief in my group, and yes I am excited about how far they have come."
The Australian team will fly out on Sunday to Florence to contest the World League finals.
For the first round match Gerflor Taraflex proved the ideal foundations to give the Volleyroos a history-making inaugural win.
Back in the prestigious tournament for the first time since 1999, Australia's men's volleyball team put on a show for the vocal 3000 strong Canberra crowd with a stunning five-set victory against Finland at the AIS Arena. Gerflor’s Denise Retallick and Mark Chate were courtside with clients who enjoyed the spectacle and pre match entertainment by James Blunt.
The Gerflor surface of choice for volleyball internationally then travelled to Adelaide Arena for the second round of matches and then made its way to Sydney for the last round and finals in July.
